When I opened the tin, was greeted with pleasant smells of chocolate, tobacco, and maybe a touch of vanilla or fruit. The coins were packed very tightly, and there was a noticeable moisture level in the tin that made smoking this difficult. When I took a large pinch out of the tin, this tobacco was a tad moist, but not dry. So much that it took several puffs to obtain all the moisture level that I desired.
